SUPPORT FOR THOSE WITH CANCER CONCERNS

"You can not teach people anything. You

can only help them, to discover

it within themselves

(Galileo Galilei)

To be confronted with a cancer diagnosis is a major challenge, not only for the patient but also for the people close to them.

  • How do I deal with fears about cancer, as a patient, or as one close to the patient?
  • How can I develop my own strategies to affect the healing process positively?
  • Who or what can best provide support during the treatment?
  • What opportunities could evolve because of my experiences?
  • How can I support those close to me who suffer of cancer?

These and other questions are discussed to work out the first concrete steps towards positive change.

Because of my own personal experience, I consider cancer not only as one of the hardest challenges but also as one of the greatest opportunities for personal growth.
